Ian joins the team with over 30 years of experience in residential development and senior management. He started his career in residential development with Taylor Wimpey and was later Managing Director of Dominion Homes, Martin Grant Homes (UK) Ltd and Dencora Homes. He joined Cross Keys Homes Housing Association in Peterborough in 2007 leaving in 2014 as Head of Development.
His role as Development Project Manager is to support the team by assisting with land acquisition, liaising with the Homes and Communities Agency and their Investment Management System to ensure compliance with the HCA requirements and assisting the Head of Development with internal procedures and compliance.
He is a Board Member of Newmarket and District Chamber of Commerce, where he helps as a qualified business mentor for new businesses as well as providing specialist advice on residential development. He studied at Southlands College - part of London University and completed a course at Westminster University in development, construction, finance and law. He is a Fellow of the Federation of Tax Advisers sad but true! And other organisations.
Ian moved to Cambridge from Surrey in 1989 as the housing company he worked for was developing new homes in the area. Outside of work, Ian enjoys having an allotment, walking with Berry his Golden Retriever and spending family holidays (with Berry) in the South of France.
