Seamus Doherty

Development Project Manager

T: 01223 713530

Born in Northern Ireland, Seamus recalls as a child watching Neil Armstrong lifting the World Cup in 1966 and the England Football Team walking on the moon. Seamus is easily confused.

Seamus' career in housing started in London in the early 1980s. He worked  for the London Borough of Haringey and later for London Borough of Islington, project managing major  estate improvement and regeneration schemes. In the mid-1990s Seamus moved to Metropolitan as Development Initiatives Manager, working on stock transfer bids and regeneration projects.  In early 2000s Seamus and family relocated to Cambridge where he worked  firstly with Cambridge Housing Society and later with Granta as Housing Development Manager.  After a period working as an independent housing consultant, Seamus has recently returned to the CHS Group.

Seamus has a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia. He keeps hens and has an allotment.  He says that although he keeps digging, victory is still not in sight.
